Now Be Here: Sharon Suhovy #227

Feeling inspired after attending the historic event Now Be Here at Hauser Wirth & Schimmel. My goal is to feature every artist that attended, one artist a day. Considering the number of artists that showed up, this will take me two years to complete. I am looking forward to getting to know the work of each and every artist!

Your inspiration for the day- Now Be Here edition: Sharon Suhovy

From Patricia Correia Gallery:

“My work represents systems of containment, lavishly embellished with baroque decoration. By revealing frames within frames I metaphorically examine the perimeters of space and how these borders/boundaries define and redefine social structures.
The frames, constructed of wood, telescope, creating interior spaces of one-point perspective, continually infinitely repeating themselves. Creating a space/place for the masterpiece is intentional. It is reserved as an empty void, a silence for curiosity and investigation.” ~Sharon Suhovy
